"But here's where it gets controversial..." Coulier initially believed that the two cancers were linked, thinking that the chemotherapy treatment for lymphoma had weakened his immune system. "The last 12 months have been an emotional rollercoaster," Coulier admits. "It's been a psychological and physiological nightmare, but I'm determined to beat this. No one should have to go through this alone."
Coulier credits his friends and family, especially his wife Melissa, for being his rock during this difficult time. He also became a grandfather earlier this year, and his grandson brings him immense joy and a reason to keep fighting.
"Laughter is a big part of my life, and seeing my grandson's smile makes me laugh. He's a shining light, and I have so much to live for. I want to be there for him, playing catch in the backyard."
