The Cornhuskers have secured a three-star defensive back, Jabarri Lofton, from East St. Louis High School in Illinois. With a 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame, Lofton had an impressive season, racking up 66 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, and a fumble recovery. His team, the Flyers, made it to the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) 6A state championship game, where they narrowly missed out on a win. Despite the loss, Lofton sees it as a learning opportunity, pushing him to work even harder. Rated an 87 overall and ranked as a three-star prospect by 247Sports Composite, Lofton is a highly sought-after player. He is ranked No. 586 nationally, No. 56 as a safety, and No. 20 in Illinois. With visits planned to various campuses, Lofton is expected to receive more offers as he continues to build relationships with different coaching staffs.
